Maisy Ishizaki
Maisy Tokiko Ishizaki, 92, of Hilo, died Oct. 6, 2019, at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 7, 1927, in Kohala, she was a kitchen help for Hilo Products, Inc., a retail sales associate for the former Hilo Dry Goods and a member of Community of Christ.
Private services were held. No koden.
She is survived by sisters, Sadako Suzuki and Carole (Harry) Watanabe; brothers, Stanley (Jan) Daikawa, Paul (Jane) Daikawa and Roy (Millie) Daikawa; two sisters-in-law; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judith Tsunoda
Judith “Judie” Machie Tsunoda, 74, of Hilo died Sept. 28, 2019, at her residence. Born in Honokaa, she was a retired elementary school teacher at Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole Elementary and Intermediate School and Park Place School in La Grande, Ore., volunteered at Brentwood Elementary School in Spokane, Wash. as a mentor and advisor in addition to being a learning coach and tutor and was a member of the Paauilo Konkoji Mission.
Visitation from 10-11 a.m. Nov. 16 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; memorial service at 11. Casual attire.
She is survived by husband, Kenneth Tsunoda of Hilo; daughter, Kris (Paul) Ward of Sagle, Idaho; granddaughters, Kylie Ward of Sagle, Idaho, Brooke Ward of Sagle, Idaho; one brother-in-law; two nephews.

Beatrice Ritchie
Beatrice “Betty” Elizabeth Ritchie, 96, of Hilo, died Nov. 1, 2019, at Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Winnipeg, Canada and came to Hawaii via Victoria, Seattle before making Hilo her home in 1969. She was a customer consultant at First Hawaiian Bank of Hilo for many years and a member of New Hope Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Christina (Obed) Kipilii of Hilo; a son, Thomas (Ginger) Ritchie of Mission Viejo, Calif.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
